Stephen Little
M.Ed., BC-HIS
Stephen Little, M.Ed., NBC-HIS is a Nationally Board Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist (the highest certification available for this profession). He also has a Masters Degree in Counselling and had practiced for many years as a marriage and family counsellor. He is a member of the International Hearing Society a former member of the State of New Hampshire Board of Audiology and Hearing Care Providers. He has been licensed to practice in the states of New Hampshire and Maine for the past ten years.
Mr. Little routinely performs hearing testing and evaluation He thoroughly assesses the patients specific hearing problems (family members are strongly encouraged to attend these meetings). With his advise and counselling he helps patients select the right level of hearing technology and pricing to successfully treat their hearing loss.
Mr. Little also conducts "Hearing Health Care" lectures in the community and he offers a consumer education class at the local high school adult education in the surrounding area.
Mr. Little specializes in fitting all levels of technology from simple analog circuits to the most advanced digital hearing aids. He is also available to correct the fittings of aids purchased from other dispensers as well as the repair and refurbishing of older hearing aids.
He is in the Portsmouth office Monday thru Friday and at the Somersworth office Monday and Thursday from 9-11:30 AM
